Meet the Groupies

Betty is the Office Manager, Insurance Biller, Handy Gal/ Office Husband, and… She loves working in our fun yet soothing environment and helping clients with any questions or concerns that arise. Betty is our rock star that always puts forth the utmost effort into getting your insurance needs met, as well as making sure our clients get everything they need. Prior to working at Elisha’s Family acupuncture, Betty was a caretaker for her grandfather. That 24-hour care has given her a unique perspective on what chronic pain, heart disease, cancer, and several other health issues can do to one’s outlook on life and their family. She’s also seen first hand how acupuncture can help with all of that and loves being a part of such a magical environment. Along with being a completely amazing Office Husband for Elisha, Betty is a single mom of a super cute toddler (whom her life revolves around) and is looking forward to continuing her education in the art of energetic healing, self love, and meditation.

A note from Betty,

I met Elisha in the summer of 2017. There was a lot of stress, physical discomfort, heart ache, sickness, and joy in my life. Needless to say I wasn’t sleeping, couldn’t keep my food down, and was completely unbalanced. Elisha saw everything I felt was wrong with me and the spirit trapped inside; buried under all of that pain. She went out of her way to help me find comfort in myself and my life. Even going as far as to order a special body pillow to help me rest during treatments and would let me sleep for hours. She would come in pull all of the needles, gently whisper take your time, and if I fell back asleep she would leave me to rest, knowing how desperately I needed it: mind, body, and soul. She was an integral part in my learning to embrace struggle as opportunity. The opportunity to learn, strengthen, grow, create change, and find deeper peace in life. As things continued to change in my life she offered me the opportunity to help her in the office in exchange for treatments. From there our relationship blossomed. Look at us now!

“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.”
– Martin Luther King Jr
